Plan Toys is committed to the creation of toys that promote physical and intellectual development in children, while being socially and environmentally responsible. Founded in 1981, Plan Toys has, over the years, become known for their simple, well-made, brightly colored wooden toys for children from birth through preschool.
Safety and Social Responsibility
The people at Plan Toys pride themselves in their status as a green company and are constantly striving for materials and production methods that are safer, cleaner and better for the environment. This includes the use of rubber wood, recycled from trees used to make latex, which is grown in chemical-free soil for three years. The pieces of rubber wood are attached together using non-formaldehyde glue, coated in water based dyes and inks, and packaged in recycled or recyclable materials.
All toys made by Plan Toys are tested in accordance to American and European standards and are also ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 & SA 8000 Certified.
